Free-Spirited

Yay! I'm back my dear readers! Finally, I can now blog!! Sorry guys for the long wait. I know I've been a bit MIA here. It's just that I'm a student, I can not set aside studying.Yes, even if I don't look like the nerdy type girl, I'm an honor student in our school. That is one of the things I'm proud of :) Okay! Let's talk about the outfit. If you've been reading my blog, you will obviously see that this post is really not me, I have my own trademark right? Like I'm always playing with bright colors and textures, but now I'm stepping outside my box. Hihi, I'm really excited to post this. Here it is!

Tadaa! Did I shocked you? Haha. I want this outfit so bad that I even differ from our theme that day. So, let's talk about the details!

Mossimo checkered polo
Summit Entertainment Edward Cullen shirt

The shirt's a blow, right? Especially to those die-hard fans of the Twilight Saga series. Eventhough I'm not a fan, I still think I'm lucky enough to have this shirt. Because of its simplicity, it is suitable for typical outings  and gimmicks. Plus the color!

And because I don't like simplicity, I matched the shirt with this Mossimo red checkered polo. It gives me the rocker style, isn't it?

Levi's denim shorts

I'm always been a fan of denim shorts, basically because they are neutral to one's outfit. I mean it is very common yet always trendy. Also, it gives an edgy look to the wearer.

Thrifted spikes bracelets
Thrifted rings
@totallycharmed (instagram) peace bracelet (Thank you Cam for this cutie patootie! <3)

Timberland combat shoes

And to complete this whole boho-slash-goth-slash-rocker look, I have my super cool Timberland boots! It gives an edgy aspect to my outfit, isn't it? This shoes is my number one wish last year, like I'm totally into it. So when my mother bought this, I am so happy that I even jump and fly! My mom is indeed the best! Love you mama! :)

I was thinking of a good title, then suddenly my thoughts came up. If you have been following my tumblr account, you will know. I was broken, judged, lost and insecure. I'm happy and sad and I don't know why. I had given them good things but still they don't give me the same. They hate my flaws and wrongs but they seem to act like nothing's wrong. I'm so sad. So sad and tired of this.

That was before. I am better now, I am free-spirited. This look is strong because I am. I know, one day, I would be good enough to live life. Good enough to be loved and be cherished. Good enough for you.

Colors

More than half of my closet consists of colorful outfits. I don't know why, I just love the feeling of dressing in variety of colors and textures. So for this outfit post, I am back from bringing the colorful drama--again. Neon, colors, and dots all in one. You may think it is absolutely overacting, but I'm telling you now, this  is my favorite outfit post so far. Okay, here it is, see for yourself :)

Colored shirt: Hanes
Polka dots shorts: Cherokee
Belt: Thrifted
If you think that the brand Hanes is for men only, well you're wrong. Hanes' a brand that provides different kinds of apparel, underwear, clothing and more for boys and girls. This shirt is supposed to be for my brother, but because he's so lucky that it didn't fit him, I ended up having this. Lucky, eh? This shirt brings a very youthful and colorful aspect but also provides a manly look for the person who will wear it. In addition, it is suitable for either men and women.

I incorporated the shirt with this Cherokee polka dots shorts. I steal this from Kamae (my cousin). The color is so refreshing isn't it? Surely will make a blow to the whole thing.

Belts are very important when you choose to tuck in a garment. This beige colored belt is a match maker. It can be matched and be mixed in any outfit.

Neon bag by Mondani New York
Bags are my buddies. And this one's my favorite! My mom gave this to me (my Tita Guy bought it for her. Instead of using it for herself, she gave this cutie patootie to me. Loving moms are the best!) You see, the color of the bag matches the entire look.

Thrifted necklace

The first time I saw this neckly, I know in myself that I will have this. Tadaaaah! Thoughts won, I bought it. Recently, I'm into buying big and massive accessories. Basically because they're scene stealers and they can bring  glam to the outfits.

.
Accessories: all are thrifted.

Flats: thrifted

Your style will showcase who you are. This is me--colors.

First Love

The adolescent girl who had said "yes" to her destiny. Finally, I am now a blogger! I decided to join this "blogging" thing because--seriously speaking-- dressing is my favorite hobby and my first love. In fact,  whenever I go out with anyone, I almost spend the day dressing and dressing. When I will buy something, apparel is on my first list. That is basically the reason why I'm here now and writing this. So to my readers(hopefully there are some. Haha), I am Lea Mae Paulino, Ley for short, a sixteen year old girl from Pampanga, Philippines. I'm a thrift shopper, a DIY accessory maker and more. With the "thrift shopping" thing, imagine, I can buy two to three pieces of clothing, instead of spending a massive amount of money with just one piece of outfit. Well, that is my own opinion and style. I also love reading books, taking pictures, exploring, writing articles and talking. And now I blog!

Okay, enough of the chitchats. Let's go back to the main feature in this blog, here goes my first ever fashion photo shoot.

Thrifted dress and denim vest

I'm not really used on wearing dresses and/or skirts before, because I always get the feeling of being so "mataba".  Since, this is my first outfit post, I want to look different and classy--and I think the best way to be is to wear a dress, that's why I come up with this idea. The dress itself brings a very sophisticated yet youthful look. I incorporated the dress with the vest to bring an edgy aspect with the wardrobe. This outfit is so me, I am a very bubbly person just like the dress, and also a very strong and independent lady.

Wilsons Leather slim bag

This bag comes very handy because of its leather tone that can be matched with any color.

Necklace: Mikarey

Pink charm: gift
Peace bracelets: thrifted
Connected rings: Divisoria

Like the bag, the heels I'm wearing  is very dependable because of its skin tone color.

Heels: Merona

There you have it!
Don't you just love how the outfit mismatched with each other in a good way? Feel free to share your thoughts!  And stay tuned for more. :)
